Heng-Ting Kuan
Biography
Heng-Ting has a background in electronic engineering and a passion for AI-driven medical imaging and 3D surgical applications.
Currently, he conducts research on pulmonary artery and vein segmentation from chest CT images, with a focus on 3D medical image analysis, model evaluation, and vascular structure preservation. His previous work includes automated echocardiogram analysis, predictive modeling for dialysis-related complications, and the development of patient-specific 3D kidney and vascular models for partial nephrectomy planning.
Heng-Ting is particularly interested in building AI-powered imaging and visualization tools that translate engineering advances into practical clinical applications.
