Biography
Artur Wysoczanski is an MD Ph.D. candidate at Columbia University. He is an alumni of the Heffner Biomedical Imaging Lab. His research focuses on machine learning applications in medical imaging, particularly for pulmonary diseases such as emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). His dissertation, titled "Machine-learned anatomic subtyping, longitudinal disease evaluation and lesion classification on computed tomography: Applications to Emphysema, COPD and Renal Cell Carcinoma," reflects this focus.
Wysoczanski has co-authored several publications, including studies on obstructive sleep apnea's impact on lung function and the association between childhood socioeconomic status and lung development in older adults.
