Biography
Bruno Vallet is a French researcher specializing in 3D data processing, photogrammetry, and computer vision. He completed his engineering degree in computer science at Télécom ParisTech (2003–2005) and holds a Ph.D. in geometry processing from the Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine. As part of his academic training, Vallet undertook a Master of Science internship at Columbia University's Heffner Biomedical Imaging Lab (HBIL).
Currently, he serves as a senior researcher at the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière (IGN) in France, where he leads the ACTE team within the LaSTIG laboratory. His work focuses on 3D city modeling, surface mesh reconstruction, and change detection, contributing significantly to the field of geospatial data analysis.
