Biography

Jérôme Kalifa is an applied mathematician and entrepreneur with expertise in medical image processing and artificial intelligence. He was a research scientist at Columbia University from 1999 to 2001, focusing on medical image processing, wavelets, and inverse problems for applications such as PET, MRI, and X-ray imaging. During his time at Columbia, he contributed to advancements in image reconstruction and quality improvement for medical applications, leading to several publications and a patent.

Kalifa has since transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding multiple companies in fields such as AI, health technology, and image processing. Notably, he co-founded Let It Wave (acquired by Zoran Corporation) and Lixoft (acquired by Simulations Plus). He is currently the founder and chairman of Let it Care, which develops AI solutions for chronic disease treatment.
