Biography
Robert Post is a biomedical researcher who earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University, and worked at HBIL.
He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. He then completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by a fellowship in Cytopathology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Post is currently an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
He has contributed to research in ophthalmology, particularly in the analysis of hyperspectral imaging data related to the retinal pigment epithelium. His work includes co-authoring a study titled “Simultaneous decomposition of multiple hyperspectral data sets: signal recovery of unknown fluorophores in the retinal pigment epithelium,” published in Biomedical Optics Express in 2014. This research was conducted in collaboration with Columbia University and NYU Langone Medical Center.
