Biography
Shujian Deng studied Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University from 2016 to 2017, and also worked with the Heffner Biomedical Imaging Lab (HBIL).
Shujian's work at Columbia includes participation in the development of LUNA, a laser ultrasound-guided biopsy needle aid designed to improve the accuracy and ease of ultrasound-guided needle biopsies. This project was showcased at Columbia's Senior Design Expo in 2017 and was advised by Prof. Joshua Jacobs.
