Biography
Dr. Shunichi Homma is the Margaret Milliken Hatch Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, where he serves as Deputy Chief of the Division of Cardiology and Director of Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging. He specializes in advanced cardiac imaging and echocardiography, with research focusing on embolic risk factors and treatment strategies. Dr. Homma has published over 500 manuscripts and has been continuously funded by the NIH since 1989. He is also involved in leadership roles within various medical organizations and has contributed to international collaborations in medicine.
