Biography
Teresa Kao is a biomedical engineer who completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. During her time at Columbia, she was affiliated with the Heffner Biomedical Imaging Lab (HBIL), where she contributed to research in biomedical imaging and computational modeling.
Following her graduation, Teresa Kao has built a career in the biotechnology industry. She has held positions such as Research Scientist in Imaging Technologies at Invitae and currently serves as a Staff Scientist at Pacific Biosciences (PacBio).
