Biography

Ting Song is a researcher and biomedical engineer who earned her Ph.D. from Columbia University, where she worked in the Heffner Biomedical Imaging Lab (HBIL). Her research focused on advanced imaging techniques, including MRI segmentation and cardiac strain analysis using real-time 3D echocardiography. She contributed to several publications on medical imaging during her time at Columbia.

Currently, Ting Song serves as Deputy Director in the Division of Anesthesia, Respiratory, and Sleep Devices at the FDA, applying her expertise in biomedical engineering and medical imaging to regulatory science and device evaluation.
