Biography
Won Hee Lee is a biomedical engineer and researcher who earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University in 2014. During his time at Columbia, he worked in the Heffner Biomedical Engineering Imaging Laboratory and collaborated with the Division of Brain Stimulation and Therapeutic Modulation at the New York State Psychiatry Institute. His research focused on brain stimulation, neurophysiology, and advanced imaging techniques.
After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Lee conducted postdoctoral research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he later became an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. In 2020, he joined Kyung Hee University as a faculty member. His academic contributions span biomedical imaging, neural engineering, and brain stimulation technologies.
