Prof. Laine was in San Juan, Puerto Rico attending the IEEE TAB (Technical Advisory Board) meeting during February 11-14, 2009.              

He was scheduled to give an oral presentation to the board for creation of a new journal on clinical engineering, which will be co-sponsored (technically and financially) by the AMA, HIMMS and other clinical engineering professional societies.
